What is the cost of psychotherapy?
The fee for the initial assessment and all subsequent consultations is £75.00. I review my fees in September each year. There is not always an increase and we can discuss this together.
What insurance companies can I use
I am a recognised Psychotherapist for clients with Bupa, Aviva and Prudential.
What happens if I miss/cancel a session?
In order for you to get the most out of psychotherapy and counselling, there needs to be a regular commitment. A regular time is set aside for you each week. I charge for missed and cancelled sessions, although wherever possible I attempt to re-schedule an appointment.
I require 14 days notice for any holidays taken. Likewise, I will give you 14 days notice for any holidays I intend to take.
What about ethics and confidentiality?
All psychotherapy and counselling appointments are private and confidential. I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy whose code of ethics I follow. All records are kept in line with the Data Protection Act 1988.
Finding me in Meads, Eastbourne
My practice is run from my comfortable and peaceful consulting room at 21 Baslow Road, Garden flat, Meads, Eastbourne, BN20 7UL. The nearest bus stops are Edensor Road and Meads high street. I am a 20 minute walk from Eastbourne train station. If you travel to appointments by car parking is free.
I can give you full written details of how to get to your appointment if we decide to meet. Unfortunately, I do not have a waiting room so in order to respect all clients’ privacy I ask you to wait outside until it is time for your appointment.
